As German Research Center for Environmental Health, Helmholtz Zentrum München pursues the goal of developing personalized medical approaches for the prevention and therapy of major common diseases such as diabetes mellitus, allergies and lung diseases. To achieve this, it investigates the interaction of genetics, environmental factors and lifestyle.

The Information and Communication Technology department hosts a dynamic computing environment (CPU, GPU, and Cloud Computing) and participates in Europe-wide hybrid cloud infrastructure development projects, among others. The department is responsible for the mass storage systems for our highly dynamic and innovative research groups.

IT Specialist Cloud Identity & Access Management (f/m/d) 2019/0360

Your responsibilities

  • design and implement the service of Identity & Access Management (IAM) Systems
  • connect Cloud Services with the IAM
  • cooperate with Application Owners / Service Owners to integrate source and target systems into IAM and develop/design new use cases

Your profile

  • Bachelor or Master (or comparable) degree in informatics, mathematics or a related subject from a university with internationally accepted quality standards or equivalent working experience in a related job
  • working experience with Identity- and Access Management Systems
  • knowledge of LDAP, SAML Oauth, OpenID, AD, Shibboleth, SaaS, PaaS is an advantage
  • knowledge of JAVA, Python, Linux
  • structured and systematic working style as well as the ability for cooperation in teams
  • strong orientation towards customer needs
  • proficient knowledge of English

Ideally knowledge in further relevant areas such as

  • IT project management
  • backup and data protection technology
  • basic networking skills
  • knowledge of German
